Members are encouraged to attend either or both of the above information meetings.
The C.U.P.E. Local #5506 Bargaining Committee and Guy Marsden, C.U.P.E. National Representative, will outline the proposed changes to the Collective Agreement and answer questions from the membership.
Members attending these information meetings will have the opportunity to vote on the tentative settlement following the presentation by the bargaining committee and discussion.
Information and ballots will also be distributed to each PSSD school/facility beginning Monday, January 30th and distributed to each member therein (who has not voted at an information meeting) by the Administrative Assistant or Workplace Communication Officer (WCO). These ballots will be returned to the Administrative Assistant or Workplace Communication Officer (WCO), who will mail the ballots back to the CUPE Regional Office within one week.
** Bus drivers ~ information/ballot package shall be sent to the school on their bus route.
** Casual/substitute employees and employees on leave will have the option of voting at the information meetings or can contact the union at 692-0189 or 630-7367 or by email (wallace.penny@prairiesouth.ca or rasmussen.dianne@prairiesouth.ca) to have an information/ballot package mailed to them or sent to their school of choice.
